Job summary

Wirtgen India is seeking a seasoned Manager - Internal Logistics Warehouse Operations in Pune to lead warehouse and internal logistics, drive inventory accuracy, and digitize operations. The role demands building capable teams and delivering cross-functional improvements across warehousing, inventory and production supply chains.

You will implement WMS, integrate with SAP ERP, and lead Lean/5S initiatives, KPI tracking, and digital traceability efforts to enhance overall warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: B.E. (Mechanical) / Production / Industrial Engineering or Diploma with relevant experience
• Age: 35 - 45 years (Approx.)
• Experience: 12 - 18 years in Manufacturing Warehousing, Internal Logistics, Inventory Management and Production Supply Operations
• Minimum 5 years in managerial leadership role
• Experience in WMS implementation and SAP MM/WM/EWM preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse and internal logistics operations ensuring inventory accuracy, warehouse digitization, operational excellence and organizational capability development.
• Develop and execute warehouse strategy aligned with business growth and production objectives.
• Drive Lean, Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish KPIs including Inventory Accuracy, OTIF, Picking Accuracy, Inventory Turns and Productivity.
• Lead warehouse capacity planning, storage optimization and automation initiatives.
• Lead WMS implementation and continuous improvement; ensure integration with SAP/ERP systems.
• Drive barcode, RFID and digital traceability solutions; develop dashboards and analytics for warehouse performance.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and stock verification; manage receipt, storage, kitting, line feeding and dispatch operations.
• Drive inventory reduction, PFEP implementation and shortage management; ensure EHS, statutory and audit compliance.
• Build and develop high-performing teams; drive cross-functional collaboration and change management; implement succession planning and talent development.
• Create a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and results.
