Qualifications

• Graduate in any stream (preferably science or hotel management).
• MBA/ PG Diploma in Facility Management/ Hotel Management preferred.
• 8+ years hospital Experience with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Develop department policies and cleaning protocols as per NABH/JCI guidelines.
• Assign daily duties to supervisors and monitor adherence to cleaning schedules.
• Inspect all zones (wards, ICUs, OPDs, common areas) for cleanliness.
• Ensure timely completion of deep cleaning, high-touch surface disinfection, and terminal cleaning.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and pest control materials.
• Train and orient new housekeeping staff on SOPs and safety.
• Collaborate with outsource service providers for housekeeping, pest control, biomedical waste handling, etc.
• Ensure timely vendor payments.
• Maintain records of pest control, biomedical waste handling, and quality checks.

Key Responsibilities Tasks

• Develop department policies and cleaning protocols as per NABH/JCI guidelines.
• Assign daily duties to supervisors and monitor adherence to cleaning schedules.
• Inspect all zones (wards, ICUs, OPDs, common areas) for cleanliness.
• Ensure timely completion of deep cleaning, high-touch surface disinfection, and terminal cleaning.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and pest control materials.
