Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations across all hospital departments.
• Supervise housekeeping supervisors and attendants to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, wards, ICUs, OPDs, operation theatres, public areas, and washrooms.
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping SOPs, infection control protocols, and biomedical waste management guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections and housekeeping audits to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare manpower deployment plans, duty rosters, and shift schedules.
• Monitor the availability of housekeeping materials, chemicals, linen, and consumables.
• Coordinate with Nursing, Infection Control, Maintenance, Laundry, and other departments for seamless operations.
• Investigate and resolve housekeeping-related complaints promptly.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer service.
