Job summary

Graphic Era in Dehradun is seeking a seasoned hospital housekeeping supervisor to oversee daily cleaning across wards, OPD, ICU and OT, ensuring high hygiene standards and strict adherence to SOPs. Qualifications

• Bachelors/Diploma in Hotel Management or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations in wards, OPD, ICU, OT, corridors and public areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure cleaning schedules and SOPs are followed.
• Manage housekeeping staff including supervisors, attendants, and cleaners; prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance.
• Provide training on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and infection control practices.
• Conduct regular inspections of patient areas and critical zones; address cleanliness-related complaints promptly.
• Ensure proper biomedical waste segregation and compliance with infection control guidelines.
• Monitor stock of housekeeping materials and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Coordinate with Nursing, Maintenance, and Administration to ensure readiness of patient rooms.
• Maintain housekeeping records and prepare reports; support NABH inspections.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Housekeeping or related field.
• Additional certification in Hospital Housekeeping or Infection Control will be an advantage.

Experience

• 5 - 8 years of experience in housekeeping operations.
• 2 - 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
