Job summary

GIVA is seeking an experienced inventory professional in Bengaluru to manage daily and monthly reconciliations, monitor shrinkage, and track damaged stock. The role supports costing, validates production volumes, and ensures accurate postings across ERP and finance teams.

Key duties include preparing MIS, maintaining audit-ready documentation, and driving process improvements to reduce recurring discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in inventory management or similar roles.
• Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Fresher Preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with warehouse, factory and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy between ERP, operational systems, and physical inventory.
• Monitor inventory shrinkage and investigate variances to support timely corrective actions.
• Track damaged inventory and ensure timely accounting, repair, disposal, or write-off.
• Support monthly manufacturing costing by validating production volumes, labour, overheads, and process losses.
• Review inventory transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy of inventory movements.
• Prepare reconciliation reports, exception trackers, and inventory MIS within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with warehouse, factory, and finance teams to resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain reconciliation documentation to support internal and statutory audit requirements.
