Job summary

Lenskart is seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to oversee stock across warehouses, stores, and transit points. You will ensure accurate stock visibility, drive reconciliations, and support audits and cycle counts.

The role requires a strong background in inventory accounting, ERP/WMS systems, and data analytics with proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python. Excellent coordination with cross-functional teams is essential for optimized inventory flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
• MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control inventory movement across warehouses, retail stores, and in-transit locations to ensure accurate stock visibility.
• Ensure timely reconciliation between physical inventory and system records, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Plan and execute cycle counts, stock audits, RTV processes, and inter-location stock transfers.
• Investigate inventory variances, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Track and monitor damaged, aging, excess, and slow-moving inventory, ensuring timely disposition and optimization.
• Adhere to inventory management SOPs, internal controls, and governance policies across all locations.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Retail, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and stock accuracy.
• Monitor inventory adjustments, validate approvals, and ensure proper documentation.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and control.

• 5. Track and monitor damaged, aging, excess, and slow-moving inventory, ensuring timely disposition and inventory optimization.
• 6. Ensure adherence to inventory management SOPs, internal controls, and operational compliance across all locations.
• 7. Collaborate closely with Warehouse, Retail, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and stock accuracy.
• 8. Monitor inventory adjustments, validate approvals, and ensure proper documentation in line with governance policies.
• 9. Drive continuous process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and control mechanisms.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E., B.Com, BBA, or equivalent).
• MBA/PGDM in Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance preferred.
