Executive Accounts & Inventory
Location: Mumbai
Purpose
Handle day-to-day transactional and operational accounting work inventory, Tally entries, factory coordination, and reconciliations so the Senior can focus on costing, compliance, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
- Maintain daily/monthly stock register (RM/PM/FG/WIP)
- Perform physical vs. system stock verification and prepare variance reports
- Carry out routine stock valuation (as per method defined by Senior) and support COGS working
- Ensure batch-wise stock entries are accurate; flag negative stock immediately
- Post RM/PM consumption entries in Tally daily
2. Daily Tally Entries
- Record day-to-day accounting entries (expenses, journal vouchers, stock entries)
- Book credit card transactions on a timely basis
- Maintain supporting documentation for all entries passed
3. Factory / 3P Coordination
- Routine follow-up with factory team for stock data, dispatch details, production reports
- Collect and organize data needed for 3P costing and reconciliation
- Escalate discrepancies or delays to Senior for resolution
4. Creditors & Reconciliation
- Prepare and update creditors ageing working on a regular basis
- Prepare MSME vendor working (identification of MSME creditors, payment due dates, overdue tracking) to support half-yearly MSME reporting
- Perform vendor / branch reconciliations and highlight mismatches
- Support bank reconciliation as needed
5. General Support
- Filing, data compilation, and MIS support for Senior's reporting requirements
- Any other routine accounting task assigned
Reporting Frequency
Candidate Profile
- B.Com / M.Com; 13 years' experience in accounting, preferably manufacturing / FMCG
- Working knowledge of Tally (ERP / Prime) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Detail-oriented, comfortable with routine / repetitive data work
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
