Job summary

Ethereal Machines in Bengaluru seeks a senior Cost Estimation Specialist with 10-12 years in aerospace/defence. You will convert RFQs to viable proposals, develop accurate costing across machine, labor, materials, and methods, and collaborate with BD, project, SCM and Engineering to gather inputs.

Strong data skills, communication, and familiarity with AS 9100-D/ITAR are essential. Experience with estimating software and spreadsheets is required, along with a PM mindset to drive cost-effective

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in aerospace and defence industry
• Ability to convert at least 25 RFQs into viable proposals per week
• Complete knowledge of costs related to machine, men, material and methods to arrive at accurate costing
• Collaboration with business development, project, SCM and Engineering functions to gather necessary inputs for costing
• Ability to analyse complex data, perform calculations, and interpret technical information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
• Familiarity with project management
• Experience with estimating software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools
• Exposure to quality management systems like AS 9100-D, ISO 14001, NADCAP, Data security, ITAR regulations
