Job summary

Mahindra Aerostructures in India seeks a technical analyst to lead BOM preparation and manufacturing process analysis for aerospace programs. You will interpret OEM data packages, BOMs, 2D drawings, and 3D models, contributing to ECN/COS workflows and cost estimation.

The role requires strong CAD proficiency (CATIA, NX, Creo), MS Excel and PowerPoint, and a solid grasp of sheet metal fabrication, GD&T, tooling, and shop-floor practices.

Qualifications

• BOM preparation and manufacturing process knowledge required.
• Experience interpreting OEM data packages (Airbus, Embraer) including BOMs, drawings and ECN/COS.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (CATIA, NX, Creo) and MS Office.
• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, machining, GD&T and shop-floor practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOMs and analyse manufacturing processes.
• Interpret OEM data packages including BOMs, 2D drawings, 3D models and ECN/COS.
• Utilise CAD tools and MS Office for documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate with Procurement and SCM for material, hardware, quotes and outsourcing.
• Ensure compliance with GD&T and shop-floor standards.

Role & responsibilities

Technical Analysis & BOM Preparation

• Strong knowledge of aerospace to work on BOM preparation & manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience in interpreting OEM technical data packages (Airbus, Embraer), including BOMs, 2D drawings, 3D models & ECN/COS..
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CAD software such as CATIA, NX, Creo.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication, machining, assemblies, GD&T, tooling, and shop-floor manufacturing practices.
• Compile and send requests for material, hardware, special BOI, outsourcing, and tooling quotes to Procurement and SCM.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of experience in aerospace estimation, costing, or industrialization.
