Job summary

Ace Recruitment Placement Consultants is seeking a seasoned Costing and Tendering Manager to lead cost estimation, cost modeling, and proposal development for capital goods projects. You will coordinate with Design, Supply Chain, Services, Production, and Assembly teams to ensure timely, accurate costing and successful tender submissions.

The role requires 10+ years in a capital goods environment, experience with ETO products, and a proven track record in private and government tenders.

Qualifications

• English fluency and clear presentation skills.
• SAP experience is mandatory.
• MS Office proficiency and Excel-based cost modelling.
• Ability to understand Hindi.
• Familiarity with costing tools, supply chain analytics and tendering processes.
• BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Analyze enquiries, decide inhouse vs subcontracting.
• Interact with customers to clarify requirements.
• Prepare competitive proposals with cost justifications.
• Monitor domestic & international cost factors (currency, inputs).
• Maintain repository of past proposals for reuse.
• Support negotiations and train junior team members.

• Track record in private & government tenders.
