Job summary

Jindal Stainless Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Lead to supervise the shift team and safeguard continuous operation of electrical systems and utilities. You will troubleshoot faults, implement preventive maintenance, and drive CAPA and root cause analysis while ensuring adherence to safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of MCC/PCC, PLCs, and SCADA, and the ability to coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Master in Electrical Engineering with 8–10 years of experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and drive technology.
• Experience in troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical maintenance team during the shift to ensure reliable operation.
• Troubleshoot faults to minimize downtime and implement CAPA and root cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and support production continuity through timely technical intervention.
• Interpret electrical drawings/schematics and manage energy distribution and load planning.

Job description

To ensure reliable and efficient operation of all electrical systems, equipment, and utilities during the assigned shift by leading the electrical maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• The role is responsible for troubleshooting electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime, implementing preventive maintenance plans, maintaining safety standards, and supporting production continuity through timely technical intervention.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 8-10 years Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, MCC, PCC, AC /DC Drives, PLCs, HMI, EOT Cranes, Motors, and automation equipment. Power system.CBM,PM,PLC Communication & computer architecture,SCADA,HMI,Cold rolling mill’s,conteneous Anealing pickling lines.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical faults.
• Familiar with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Understanding of industrial safety standards and electrical codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience in energy management and load distribution.
• Leadership and team management skills to guide shift electricians and Shift incharge.
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving ability during breakdowns.
• Effective communication and coordination with production and maintenance teams.
• Ability to solve problem by finding appropriate CAPA & root cause.
