Job summary

Indian Synthetic Rubber seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to safeguard HT/LT switchgear, transformers, induction motors, VFDs, and lighting across the plant. You will read and interpret electrical control schematics and supervise electrical operations during night, weekend and holiday shifts with minimal guidance.

You will perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) per ISRPL SOP, install temporary field connections, and ensure hazard classifications are respected.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering required with 5–6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with HT/LT switchgear, transformers, induction motors, VFDs, and lighting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical control schematics.
• Experience managing shifts including night shifts.
• Knowledge of hazardous area classifications.
• Experience with finished goods conveyors is a plus.

Responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5 to 6 Years of experience in handling maintenance of Electrical systems.
• Must have hands-on experience in maintaining HT/LT switchgear, transformers, induction motors, VFDs, and plant lighting systems.
• Must have a strong understanding of hazardous area classifications.
• Must be capable of reading and interpreting electrical control schematics.
• Must have knowledge of electrical equipment protection systems.
• Must have experience in managing shifts independently, including night shifts.
• Experience with finished goods conveyor lines.
• Functional knowledge of SAP is essential.
• Prior experience in the petrochemical/chemical/fertilizer industries is preferred.
