Anora Semiconductor Labs in Chennai invites an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead the electrical maintenance team across the manufacturing plant. You will plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, and oversee HT/LT systems, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, and VFDs.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing.
• 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Responsabilités

• Lead the electrical maintenance team and ensure smooth operation of all electrical equipment in the plant.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Manage HT/LT systems, power distribution networks, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, and control panels.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of power transformers.
• Maintain manufacturing utilities: DG sets, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, water treatment.
• Monitor energy use and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with production and external vendors for maintenance.
• Analyze root causes of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare maintenance records, schedules, and reports.
• Manage spare parts inventory for electrical and utility equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical maintenance team and ensure smooth operation of all electrical equipment within the plant.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Manage and maintain HT/LT electrical systems, power distribution networks, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, and control panels.
• Oversee installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of power and distribution transformers.
• Ensure proper maintenance of manufacturing utilities such as:
• DG Sets
• Air Compressors
• Chillers
• Cooling Towers
• HVAC Systems
• Water Treatment Systems
• Electrical Utility Infrastructure
• Monitor electrical energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate utility operations to ensure uninterrupted production support.
• Analyze root causes of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure statutory compliance related to electrical safety and utility operations.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, SOPs, maintenance records, and reports.
• Manage spare parts inventory for electrical and utility equipment.
• Coordinate with production, projects, and external vendors for maintenance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, electrical regulations, and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
• Valid Electrical License will be an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
