Job summary

Walplast Products in Vadodara, Gujarat, is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.

You will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; maintain records; support installation, commissioning, and validation of new machines and automation equipment; and ensure safety compliance as per EHS policies.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical Engineering required.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in maintenance.
• Experience in cement industry is preferred.
• Ownership, accountability, learning agility and problem solving required.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and perform repairs.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment history.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, sensors and control systems.
• Support commissioning, installation and validation of new machines and automation equipment.
• Support maintenance of compressors, grinding, blending machines, RO plant, STP, solar systems, forklift, transformers and DG.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for machine failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, machine safety and EHS policies.
• Support internal audits and maintain engineering compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers during maintenance and projects.
• Assist spare parts management and inventory control.
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and operators.

• 3) Maintain maintenance records, equipment history and documentation.
• 4) Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems,VFDs, sensors, and industrial control systems.
