Job summary

Sanika Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. in Maharashtra, India, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant electrical systems.

You will ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations. You will work on LT panels, motors, MCCs, and VFDs, perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, monitor energy usage, and coordinate with production and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or process industry.
• Experience in chemical or continuous process plants preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with LT panels, motors, MCC, VFD, and control systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, panels, motors, and plant machinery
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment
• Ensure safe operation of electrical installations as per statutory norms
• Monitor power consumption and support energy-saving initiatives
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations
• Supervise electrical contractors and external service providers
• Maintain electrical drawings, records, and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and audits
• Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime
