Job summary

Luminous India in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, seeks an EHS professional to manage MIS data collection and routine reporting. You will support statutory compliance, maintain EHS records, and coordinate with multiple departments to drive safety and ESG initiatives.

The role includes organizing training on chemical handling, leading audits, and implementing EHS SOPs with a focus on improving safety culture and 5S participation across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS MIS data collection and daily to monthly reporting.
• Sound presentation and communication skills with good record keeping and discipline.
• Proficiency in digital working and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure statutory compliance with government and global requirements.
• Update and maintain records for EHS activities and management.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support EHS programs and audits.
• Organize EHS training on chemical handling and safety.

• EHS MIS Data collection and Daily , weekly ,Monthly Reporting
• Statutory compliance with Govt. & global requirement
• Status update on Checking and maintaining of emergency tackling equipment’s/ systems.
• Updating and maintaining records for management and operation of EHS activities.
• Risk assessment and evaluation, and hands on experience in ISO 14001, ISO 5001, and ISO 45001 implementation
• Organizing and Tracking Blood lead Level Industrial Hygiene program / practices
• Safety Work permit, MOC issuance & tracking
• Routine EHS audits and inspection of non-compliances.
• Handling of international agencies like GRC Global etc.
• Coordination with all stakeholders / depts other dept. Internal / external.
• Raising indent for purchase and service contract (SAP)
• Total waste management Haz waste, e-waste, BMW
• EHS Training on all EHS chemical handling etc.
• To organize the EHS awareness / promotional programs for enhancing awareness among the employees/ families
• BBS Implementation hand on experience
• Coordination for Safety committee & Other EHS meeting
• Budgeting and tracking for EHS expenses.
• Supporting plant team for 5S by active participation
• Pressure vessel/lifting tackle testing/ compliance
• Implementation & Updating of EHS SOPs.
• Near Miss reporting tracking and updating
• BOPT/FLT license issuance and tracking
• EHS data board updating
• Accident analysis, reporting, CAPA, implementation
• To run Road Safety Program
• To run the contractor safety program
• ESG& sustainability actions & data collection

Must have sound presentation skill & proficiency in digital working with good presentation & communication skill, and good record keeping and good discipline too.
