Job summary

ISS India is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead environmental, health and safety initiatives at our Vadodara site. You will implement, monitor and continuously improve safety management systems in line with regulatory standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial environments with exposure to construction or facilities projects. Strong MS Office, presentation and communication skills are essential for effective reporting and client interaction.

Qualifications

• Qualification & Experience: Diploma / BE in Engineering + Advanced diploma in industrial Safety & Environment.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial field & projects (FMS & Construction background preferable).
• Knowledge on MS Office and Good Presentation and Communication Skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute, development/implementation/maintenance of environmental and safety management systems.
• MIS reporting - Prepare, compile PAN India EHS KPI data, safety registers, training records, manpower data, site progress, leading/lagging indicators etc.
• Coordinates the day-to-day implementation of the site safety, industrial hygiene and environmental policies and procedures.
• Organising safety audits / assessments to evaluate compliance to regulations and facility safety & environmental policies & procedures.
• Participates on ISO 14001/ 45001 audits.
• Implement annual HSE Plan in compliance to applicable HSE standards / statutes/activities.
• Implement a comprehensive review and monitoring mechanism for ensuring effectiveness of HSE activities.
• Implement HSE management system, including processes, procedures, portals, etc. Ensure regular review and updation of HSE documents.
• Preparing the EHS Risk Assessment, SWMS/ JSA, Checklist and formats.
• Reviewing and updating of SOPs, Work Instructions etc.Sharing to monthly reports to Management and Client on time.
• Conducting trainings, Mock Drills, Fire Drills, EHS Campaigns etc.
• Preparing reports. Organising review meeting with clients and internal team.
• Incident Reporting and investigation as per the contract guidelines
• Reviewing the PPE and tools at site. Review the legal requirements and timely communicating the requirements.
• Updating the inputs in client and company portals. HSE Induction of new joinees and reviewing TBT Process.
• Educating the team on all EHS Requirements and ensuring the compliances.
