Job summary

Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, seeks an experienced EHS Specialist to manage EHS MIS data, statutory compliance, risk assessments, emergency readiness and ISO implementations.

You will conduct audits, coordinate with global agencies, drive training, 5S, waste management, and maintain records and budgets, while ensuring a safe work environment and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS reporting, audits and compliance.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001/45001/50001 implementations.
• Hands-on in emergency preparedness and waste management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain EHS MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for EHS compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
• Lead safety training, near-miss reporting and 5S activities.
• Oversee waste management (hazardous, e-waste, BMW) and incident investigations.
• Manage permits, safety committee meetings, and budget tracking.

Job Description:

1. EHS MIS Data collection and Daily , weekly ,Monthly Reporting
2. Statutory compliance with Govt. & global requirement
3. Status update on Checking and maintaining of emergency tackling equipment’s/ systems.
4. Updating and maintaining records for management and operation of EHS activities.
5. Risk assessment and evaluation, and hands on experience in ISO 14001, ISO 5001, and ISO 45001 implementation
6. Organizing and Tracking Blood lead Level Industrial Hygiene program / practices
7. Safety Work permit, MOC issuance & tracking
8. Routine EHS audits and inspection of non-compliances.
9. Handling of international agencies like GRC Global etc.
10. Coordination with all stakeholders / depts other dept. Internal / external.
11. Raising indent for purchase and service contract (SAP)
12. Total waste management Haz waste, e-waste, BMW
13. EHS Training on all EHS chemical handling etc.
14. To organize the EHS awareness / promotional programs for enhancing awareness among the employees/ families
15. BBS Implementation hand on experience
16. Coordination for Safety committee & Other EHS meeting
17. Budgeting and tracking for EHS expenses.
18. Supporting plant team for 5S by active participation
19. Pressure vessel/lifting tackle testing/ compliance
20. Implementation & Updating of EHS SOPs.
21. Near Miss reporting tracking and updating
22. BOPT/FLT license issuance and tracking
23. EHS data board updating
24. Accident analysis, reporting, CAPA, implementation
25. To run Road Safety Program
26. To implement SVT, Policy & R&R
27. To run the contractor safety program
28. ESG& sustainability actions & data collection
29. Environmental Mentoring including ETP, STP, stack etc.

Must have sound presentation skill & proficiency in digital working with good presentation & communication skill, and good record keeping and good discipline too.
