Job summary

Jubilant FoodWorks (JFL) is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist to minimize environmental risk and maximize opportunity across the business unit. You will develop and implement the environmental strategy, maintain results, and shape the internal environmental culture while aligning with external brand expectations.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Environmental, B.Sc in Environmental Science (Health & Safety Experience is a must).
• Interpersonal skills to work well in a team and to manage and motivate others.

• Skills in data analysis, including working with electronic data.
• Logical reasoning and time-management ability.
• The ability to plan ahead and deal with unexpected changes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate for Obtaining fresh/renewal Consent to Operate, Consent to establish, Ground water NOC, Fire NOC, Hazardous & Other waste Rules
• Ensure adherence of Compliance towards license conditions w.r.t. Consent to Operate - Air & Water, Fire NOC, UPGWD NOC.
• Ensure Implementation & compliance of Hazardous & Other waste Rules (Form-3, 4, 8, 9 & 10), Biomedical waste rules(Form-4), Battery Waste Rules(Form-8), & E-waste management rules (Form-2, 3 & 6)
• Ensure timely submission of all applicable regulatory report- monthly/quarterly/annual returns
• Ensure Compliance towards Solid waste mgmt. storage, handling & disposal (obtaining & verification of end life certificate)
• Ensure Compliance towards statutory activities such as Environment & Safety Monitoring, ETP-STP operations, AAQ monitoring, Noise monitoring & Stack monitoring
• Co-ordinate for Internal Audits, OHS manual preparation, SOP's and EHS standard preparation, EHS Opex & Capex budgeting - PPE's, Unsafe Condition mitigation, compliances etc
• Co-ordinate for Weekly SCC EHS dashboard update, Monitoring & update of Monthly EHS MIS, Monthly Water Index & Balance update, ETP-STP logbook, monthly Internal Audit plan & summary report, Warehouse racks inspection audit, Material Balancing (RM, PM) & Re-conciliation Scrap disposal

Job description
