Job summary

COLSTON in Mumbai is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to support sales and marketing in Bathware and Ceramic segments. You will assist in driving sales growth, develop dealer/distributor networks, manage key accounts, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.

The role requires 4–8+ years of experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in sales/commercial roles in bathware/ceramics is a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve targets for the assigned region.
• Handle channel sales (dealers/distributors) and institutional sales (architects, builders, contractors).
• Support planning and conducting promotional activities, trade shows, and product launches.
• Identify and onboard new dealers/distributors to expand the network.
• Maintain relationships with existing partners for repeat business.
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and production teams for timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust strategies.
• Submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Assist in training and guiding sales staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business targets for the assigned region.
• Handle channel sales (dealers/distributors) and institutional sales (architects, builders, contractors).
• Support in planning and conducting promotional activities, trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches.
• Identify and onboard new dealers/distributors to expand the business network.
• Maintain relationships with existing partners and customers for repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate with the supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
