Job summary

Godrej Enterprises Group seeks a seasoned Project Manager to drive NPI/NPD initiatives from concept to delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and supplier networks. You will be accountable for meeting scope, cost and schedule targets while leading a growing engineering team in Mumbai.

The role requires 5–7 years in project management, PMP/Prince certifications, and strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex programs in a mechanical/electronics

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• Preferred: Masters in Business Administration.
• Experience: 5–7 years in Project Management; PMP/Prince certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of NPI/NPD projects per ABP plan.
• Execute projects within budget, timelines and cost constraints.
• Management of development partners/suppliers.
• Lead and develop GETs/junior team members.
• Ensure statutory operational and financial compliance.
• Support organizational initiatives across safety, quality, and CSR.

Job Description

• 1. Delivering NPI/NPD Projects in line with ABP Plan- Creating project requirement and scope document.- Initiating projects, preparing project plans, determining project tasks and schedules- Reviewing project status on regular basis with various external design partners and within the team- Identification of critical paths in the projects and execute critical tasks on parallel path in order to avoid significant impact on projects- Preparing and presenting project status reports to project sponsor and project owner- Closing the projects


• 2. Seamless Execution of NPD within budgeted efforts, timelines & cost- Preparation of Project Plans & Identification of critical paths- Risk & Mitigation planning from time to time with Design Reviews and Milestones tracking- Delivery quality monitoring and Design Audits planning & adherence, Task closures- Prototyping, Functional Validation, Performance Validation, Reliability Analysis &Endurance testing


• 3. Development Partners (Suppliers) Management- Daily Standing reviews, Weekly review Peer to peer meetings- Monthly performance reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews- Design Audits, Milestone plan, monitoring & mitigation- Risk planning & mitigation from time to time- Process Improvement Initiatives & Relationship Management- Purchase & Invoicing Activities


• 4. Subordinate & Team Management- Training & Developing GETs joining the team


• 5. Statutory Operational & Financial compliance requirements- Tracking and Monitoring of REVEX & CAPEX expenses- Internal statutory audits & closures of audit findings on time


• 6. Organizational Imperatives- Providing active support to all company - wide processes and initiatives such as Safety, Business Excellence, CII Clusters, IMS, CSR, Archives, etc.
