Job summary

Matrix Robotics is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for its plant in Pune. The role requires 6+ years of hands-on experience in CNC, VMC, and PLC-based maintenance, with strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

You will lead a maintenance team, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate with Production to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and can join immediately.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge of CNC, VMC and PLC-based machinery maintenance.
• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and supervise maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day maintenance activities.
• Handle breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot and maintain CNC, VMC and PLC-based machines.
• Identify machine faults and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Handle electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance issues.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor machine performance and ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Lead and guide the maintenance team and allocate daily tasks.
• Coordinate with Production to resolve breakdowns and operational issues.
• Maintain records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance and spares.
• Ensure proper utilization and availability of maintenance tools and spare parts.
• Support root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Maintenance Supervisor to manage and supervise overall maintenance activitiesat our plant. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of CNC, VMC, PLC and industrial machinery maintenance, along with the ability to handle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong practical/hands-on maintenance experience.
• Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor / Senior Maintenance Engineer role will be preferred.
• Candidates who can independently handle complete maintenance operations are preferred.
