Job summary

Ultra Corpotech in Pune–Chakan is seeking an Engineer - Electrical with 3–6 years of CNC/VMC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. The role involves handling routine and breakdown maintenance, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safe operation of electrical systems and utilities.

Candidates should have ITI (Electrician) / DEE / BE in Electrical and hands-on expertise with CNC controllers and PLC logic.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years CNC/VMC machine maintenance in manufacturing
• ITI/DEE/BE Electrical qualifications
• Experience with electrical maintenance in machine shop is required
• Knowledge of ISO/IMS documentation and KPIs is desirable

Responsibilities

• Handle routine and electrical breakdown maintenance on CNC/VMC machines
• Diagnose machine errors, test geometrical accuracy, and resolve faults
• Maintain overhead cranes, DG sets, air compressors and utilities to ISO 45001 standards
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance to maximize machine uptime
• Maintain maintenance records (MTTR, MTBF, KPI) and TPM/5S/Kaizen practices

Job Title - Engineer - Electrical

Department - Maintenance (Electrical)

Location - Pune - Chakan.

Experience - 3 to 6 yrs

Qualification - ITI (Electrician) /DEE / BE - Electrical

Critical Skills & Personal Attributes

• Hands on expertise in CNC & VMC machines electrical maintenance to ensure seamless operations in our machine shop and fabrication shop.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi CNC Controller
• Exposure of CNC / PLC ladder logic diagnosis, VFD installations & fault findings,
• Exposure to EOT Cranes, SK Furnace, Paint Booth, Shot Blasting, etc. maintenance
• Knowledge of VCB, ACB and various sensors & instruments,
• Also, knowledge about maintenance documents like breakdown percentage, MTTR, MTBF, ISO/IMS documentation, KRA, KPI etc.
• Ability to Handle Multiple Priorities, Good Planning & Organizing skills.
• Good level of interpersonal skills, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs for critical equipment.
• Good written and verbal communication

Main responsibility

1. Able to Handle routine and electrical breakdown maintenance on CNC and VMC machines, Monitoring performance & achieving machine availability daily and monthly basis.
2. Diagnosing and resolving machine errors, Geometrical Accuracy test, machine alarms, and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and root cause analysis. Able to troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
3. Maintain and inspect overhead cranes, DG sets, air compressors and other utilities; ensure compliance with safety standards like ISO 45001.
4. Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to achieve 100 % machine uptime. Preparing the Preventive Maintenance Checklist, Diagnosis of Check points and Modification of PM checklist according to requirement.
5. Maintain maintenance records like breakdown percentage, MTTR, MTBF, ISO/IMS documentation, KRA, KPI etc.
6. Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies
