Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a leading API pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Vapi. The role focuses on plant and utility maintenance, ensuring uptime and compliance with EHS and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include planning preventive and breakdown maintenance, managing utilities and new equipment installations, budgeting, and coordinating with production, QA, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant and utility maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan and execute preventive & breakdown maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Manage maintenance of utilities like boilers, chillers, compressors, etc.
• Lead installation & commissioning of new equipment and projects.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and statutory norms.
• Maintain all maintenance documentation and SOPs.
• Handle maintenance budgeting, spares planning, and cost control.
• Lead and guide the maintenance team & external vendors.
• Coordinate with production, QA, EHS, and other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement, 5S, and reliability initiatives.
