Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a Manager Maintenance for a chemical process plant based in Dahej, Bharuch. The candidate will lead maintenance of equipment and utilities, ensuring reliable operations with a focus on minimizing downtime.

Required is 10–12 years of direct field experience in chemical industry maintenance, with familiarity in pumps, blowers, valves, heat exchangers, and preventive/predictive maintenance systems. Project exposure in piping erection and welding is a plus.

Qualifications

• Chemical industry experience is mandatory.
• 10–12 years of direct field maintenance experience in chemical process plants.
• Exposure to pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, jacketed vessels, heat exchangers, lubrication, bearings, mechanical seals, welding, valves, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, insulation, painting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and utilities in a chemical process plant with emphasis on reliability and uptime.
• Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Oversee project activities including equipment erection, piping fabrication and welding to applicable standards (NDT, QC).

Key Roles & Responsibility

• Looking for Mechanical Engineer having direct field experience of Maintenance of equipment of Chemical process plant and related Utilities of about 10 to 12 years.
• Exposure is essential to work Related to Pumps, Blowers, Agitators, Compressors, Jacketed vessels, Heat Exchangers, Lubrication, Bearings, Mech. Seals, Welding, Valves, Boiler, Chiller, Cooling Towers, Insulation, Painting, etc
• Familiarity with the Preventive & Predictive maintenance system is also important.
• Also, the Project experience is favourable like handling of Equipment, fabrication and Erection of piping, familiar with piping & welding standards , NDT , Equipment erection work , testing, quality control, etc
