Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a leading API pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Vapi. You will oversee plant and utility maintenance to ensure smooth operations and drive reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering and will plan preventive and breakdown maintenance, manage boilers, chillers, and other utilities, and lead a maintenance team and external vendors while ensuring EHS and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Candidate should hold a BE in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant and utility maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan and execute preventive & breakdown maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Manage maintenance of utilities like boilers, chillers, compressors, etc.
• Lead installation & commissioning of new equipment and projects.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and statutory norms.
• Maintain all maintenance documentation and SOPs.
• Handle maintenance budgeting, spares planning, and cost control.
• Lead and guide the maintenance team & external vendors.
• Coordinate with production, QA, EHS, and other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement, 5S, and reliability initiatives.
