Job summary

Geekay Wires Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for its industrial manufacturing facility in India. You will lead a team of multi-skilled technicians, oversee preventive maintenance of hydraulic presses, nut formers, and related equipment, and coordinate tool room activities.

Candidates should have 5–10+ years in heavy manufacturing maintenance, strong hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC/PLC troubleshooting, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10+ years in industrial manufacturing maintenance with exposure to fastener or heavy metal-forming plants.
• Strong background in hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy-duty mechanics, and CNC/ PLC troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a certified vocational diploma in industrial maintenance.
• Familiarity with CMMS to track work orders and part lifespans.

Responsibilities

• Machine Upkeep: Maintain cold heading machines, nut formers, multi-station parts formers, thread rolling dies, and secondary automated sorting equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Run routine checks on hydraulic presses, pneumatic feeds, lubrication lines, and electrical control panels to stop unexpected failures.
• Tooling & Die Support: Coordinate closely with tool rooms to align machine maintenance with die changes, setup adjustments, and tolerance checks.
• Team Leadership: Supervise multi-skilled technicians and mechanical fitters, assign daily work orders, and manage shift schedules.
• Spare Parts Control: Monitor inventory for high-wear components like grippers, cutter quills, punches, drive belts, and specialized bearings.
