Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in India seeks a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer with expertise in CNC machines and TPM to lead preventive and predictive maintenance across production lines.

You will diagnose failures, implement reliability improvements, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with engineering teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree required.
• 5-7 Yrs / 8-11 yrs experience in CNC maintenance/manufacturing.
• Proven ability to execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000/TS 16949/IEC 17025) and MFMEA.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure timely restoration of equipment during breakdowns.

Equipment Reliability

• Maintain engine manufacturing machines such as CNC machines, assembly lines, conveyors, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment issues.
• Implement reliability improvement initiatives and Kaizen activities.

Planning & Documentation

• Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to PM plans.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history cards, and downtime reports.
• Update spare parts consumption and inventory records.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and statutory requirements.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
• Promote a safe working culture within the maintenance team.

Utilities & Infrastructure

• Support maintenance of utility systems including air compressors, pumps, cooling systems, DG sets, and material handling equipment.
• Monitor utility performance and coordinate repairs when required.
• Participate in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Cost Reduction initiatives.
• Recommend modifications to improve equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
