Job summary

Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead preventive maintenance programs across multiple lines and ensure reliable equipment performance at its facilities in India. You will oversee spare parts management, budgeting, and project execution while driving compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coordination with departments, and timely reporting on daily activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance budgets and cost controls.
• Strong leadership to allocate maintenance staff across departments.
• Experience with environmental and food safety standards (FSSC 22000, GMP, 5S).
• Ability to raise work orders and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a preventive maintenance plan to minimize breakdowns.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability.
• Timely execution of maintenance and facilities projects.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets and control costs.
• Schedule and allocate maintenance staff for requests.
• Conduct monthly breakdown analysis to identify root causes.
• Coordinate annual maintenance contracts for equipment.
• Communicate with UHVBN for electrical connections and load management.
• Implement and supervise adherence to FSSC 22000, GMP, GHP and 5S.
• Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports.
• Raise work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Conduct routine machine checks.
• Attend and resolve machine breakdowns promptly.
• Monitor environmental parameters per regulations.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance Planning: Develop and execute a preventive maintenance plan to minimize machine breakdowns and ensure optimal machine performance.


• Spare Parts Management: Maintain an inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability as per requirement.


• Project Execution: Timely execution of various projects related to maintenance and facilities management.


• Budget Preparation and Control: Prepare annual maintenance budgets and ensure adherence to the allocated budget, controlling costs effectively.


• Staff Scheduling and Allocation: Schedule and allocate maintenance staff to address maintenance requests from different departments promptly.


• Breakdown Analysis: Conduct monthly breakdown analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective measures to reduce machine breakdowns.


• AMC Coordination: Coordinate annual maintenance contracts for weighing scales, UPS, inkjet printing machines, etc.


• Liaison with UHVBN: Communicate with the UHVBN department for electrical connections, load reduction, and other related matters.


• Implementation of Standards: Implement and supervise adherence to FSSC 22000, FSSAI, GMP, GHP, and 5S guidelines.


• Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit daily maintenance reports detailing activities and achievements.


• Job Work Order: Raise job work orders for maintenance tasks as required.


• Routine Machine Checks: Conduct routine checks of all machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning.


• Breakdown Resolution: Attend and resolve machine breakdown complaints promptly and efficiently.


• Environmental Compliance: Monitor and maintain environmental parameters as per regulatory guidelines.


• Other Duties: Carry out any other job assigned by seniors in the department.
