Job summary

Qualifications

• Plan and perform preventive maintenance as per schedule and ensure necessary preparation like spares.
• Attend to breakdown maintenance and analysis.
• Improve availability of machines, utilities and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices using safeguards and personal protective equipment.
• Participate in training, quality, environment, health and safety meetings.
• Generate and implement ideas for improvement and cost control.
• Active involvement in 5S, TQM/KAIZEN, QMS and EOHS management systems.
• Coordinate and implement policies, rules & regulations, procedures, work instructions and related forms; update records for QMS, EMS, OHS and customer requirements.
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventive maintenance activities and ensure spares are available.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis.
• Improve machine and utilities availability.
• Maintain safe working practices and PPE usage.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-control initiatives.
• Engage in 5S, TQM/KAIZEN and EOHS activities.
• Coordinate policy implementation and keep records up to date.
