Job summary

JP Constro And Infra is seeking a maintenance supervisor to plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of construction equipment and heavy machinery at project sites in Pune District. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues, coordinate with technicians and site teams, and ensure safety and procedure compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant experience in construction equipment or heavy machinery maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, team management, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Willingness to work at project/site locations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of construction equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Handle maintenance of equipment such as JCB, excavators, cranes, DG sets, compressors, generators, and other heavy machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures before major breakdowns occur.
• Maintain proper records of equipment maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and service history.
• Coordinate with technicians, operators, vendors, and site/project teams for timely maintenance and repairs.
• Manage availability and requirements of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Supervise maintenance staff and allocate daily maintenance activities.
• Prepare regular maintenance reports and update management regarding equipment condition and major repair requirements.
