Job summary

Gujarat Ambuja Exports is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily preventive maintenance of plant machinery in its Jalgaon facility. You will diagnose faults, schedule repairs, and ensure minimum downtime to support production targets.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance activities, supervising technicians, coordinating with production and electrical teams, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor utility systems such as compressors, pumps, cooling towers, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate breakdown maintenance to minimise production losses.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, and documentation.
• Participate in installation, commissioning, and modification of plant machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production, electrical, and other departments for maintenance activities.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise contractors and maintenance technicians during repair and project activities.
