Role Description

The Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Tirupattur taluk. This role is responsible for executing routine and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure continuous and safe operations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and supporting electrical maintenance activities as needed. The Maintenance Engineer will monitor equipment performance, document maintenance work, maintain compliance with safety standards, and coordinate with production or operations teams to minimize downtime. The role also involves recommending improvements to maintenance processes, planning spare parts requirements, and collaborating with other technical staff and external service providers when required.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machinery performance.
• Experience in Maintenance & Repair, including hands-on work with mechanical systems and tools in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance practices, including scheduling, inspection routines, and documentation to reduce breakdowns.
• Competence in Electrical Maintenance, including basic fault finding, safe handling of electrical components, and coordination with electrical specialists.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Understanding of safety standards, compliance practices, and safe work procedures in a plant or factory environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
