Qualifications

• Capable of root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA implementation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance for factory machinery, motors, switchgears, and control panels.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical failures, PLC faults, and power distribution issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance of transformers, HT/LT panels, generators, VFDs, and MCCs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis for major breakdowns and implement CAPA.
• Maintain inventory of critical electrical spares for immediate availability.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling industrial electrical infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operational safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine & Preventive Maintenance: Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly electrical maintenance schedules for factory machinery, motors, switchgears, and control panels.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve electrical failures, PLC faults, wiring issues, power distribution disruptions, and drive issues promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Equipment Oversight: Monitor the performance of transformers, HT/LT panels, generators, DG sets, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control centers (MCC).
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with industrial electrical safety standards, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures, and statutory safety guidelines.
• Breakdown Analysis: Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major electrical breakdowns and implement long-term corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Spare Parts Management: Maintain inventory of critical electrical spares, tools, and equipment to ensure immediate availability during breakdowns.

• Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of HT/LT power distribution, PLCs, VFDs, relay logic, electric motors, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Relocation: Candidate must be willing to relocate near the industrial facility in Gummidipoondi.
