Job summary

Artemyn in India is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure safety standards are followed. The role involves preventive, breakdown, predictive and corrective maintenance across pumps, filters, crushers, conveyors and other plant equipment, with emphasis on continuous improvement and cross-functional coordination.

Knowledge of spare parts management, budgeting, and collaboration with electrical and instrumentation teams is essential to drive plant

Qualifications

• The position requires hands-on maintenance knowledge and practical problem-solving ability.
• Strong coordination and communication across teams will be essential.

Responsibilities

• The position holder is responsible for upkeep of machine health by preventive maintenance planning and safety standards.
• Carry out preventive, breakdown, predictive and corrective maintenance / utilities activities as per schedule.
• Interdepartmental coordination.
• Maintenance of stationary & rotating equipment (pumps, grinders, filtration equipment, conveyors, bore well system, etc.).
• Introduce continuous improvement practices to boost plant productivity.
• Project planning and execution as per safety standards.
• Knowledge of safety systems and working environment.
• Knowledge of spare management - PR/PO and follow-ups.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and its monitoring.
• In-depth plant and machine knowledge with hands-on experience.
• Coordination between electrical and instrumentation departments.
• Coordination with Projects team for upcoming new projects.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• The position holder is responsible for the upkeep machine health by proper planning and development of the preventive maintenance schedule and its proper execution as per the laid safety standards of the group.
• To carry out preventive, breakdown, predictive and corrective maintenance / Utilities activities as per schedule.
• Interdepartmental Coordination
• Maintenance of Stationary & Rotating Equipment like: Wet grinders, Filtrations Equipment's (Vibro Screens),Horizontal Pumps, Vertical Pumps, Conveyor Belts, Bore Well System with filtration, Agitators, Crusher, Blowers, EOT Crane cooling towers, etc.
• Introduce continuous improvement practices to boost the Plant productivity.
• Project planning & its execution as per safety standard.
• Knowledge of Safety system and working environment.
• Knowledge of spare management- PR/PO and follow-ups
• Knowledge of budget preparation & its monitoring.
