Job summary

ZF in India invites applications for a Procurement Maintenance / PAM Senior Engineer based at Mahindra World City, Chennai. You will maintain CNC/PLC/SPM-based machines, perform RCA, implement TPM-driven improvements, and manage preventive maintenance programs.

You will also oversee calibration, history records, and spare parts planning to boost reliability and equipment uptime. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with CNC spindle, ball screws, ATC settings, and hydraulic/pneumatic

Qualifications

• Proven experience with CNC spindle and ball screw assemblies.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in machine reconditioning, new machine installation, and relocation.
• Proficient in planning manpower, materials, tools, and spare parts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CNC, PLC, SPM-based machines and fixtures.
• Perform RCA for breakdowns and implement corrective actions per TPM.
• Conduct audits to ensure proper maintenance and provide guidance.
• Implement PM, TBM, and CBM per schedule.
• Oversee machine history, preventive maintenance records, calibration, and spare parts planning.

Your Task:

• Perform maintenance on CNC, PLC, SPM-based machines, assembly test rigs, and material handling equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and implement corrective actions based on TPM principles.
• Carry out audits to ensure proper machine maintenance and provide necessary guidance.
• Implement Preventive (PM), Time-Based (TBM), and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) as per schedule.
• Oversee machine history, preventive maintenance records, calibration of instruments, and spare parts planning.

Your Profile :

• Strong expertise in CNC spindle and ball screw assembly, ATC setting, and alignment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, applications, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience in machine reconditioning, new machine installation, and equipment relocation.
• Ability to improve production machines and equipment for enhanced reliability and efficiency.
• Skilled in resource planning, including manpower, materials, tools, and spare part management.
