Job summary

ZF Group in Chennai is seeking a Senior Engineer (PLC Automation) for Commercial Vehicle Systems. You will lead maintenance with 5+ years of experience, focusing on PLC programming, CNC, and machine building, on-site at Chennai - Mahindra World City.

Responsibilities include TPM-driven root-cause analysis, machine audits, PM/TBM/CBM execution, and keeping detailed maintenance records. BE/BTech is required, with strong diagnostic and hands-on skills for complex systems.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in maintenance/engineering scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, CNC, and machine building.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root-cause analysis for breakdowns and implement corrective actions (TPM).
• Carry out machine maintenance audits and provide guidance.
• Implement PM, TBM, and CBM activities as per plan.
• Maintain machine history and preventive maintenance records.
• Perform instrument calibration and spare part planning; recondition machines when needed; install new equipment.
