Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assembly line equipment and to support installation, commissioning, and improvement of production machines. The role focuses on RCA, Poka-Yoke, and reducing recurring issues to improve OEE and downtime metrics.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical/electrical/mechatronics background with 1–3 years in maintenance or production support, plus PLC/sensor knowledge and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or production equipment support.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, pneumatic and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime to support business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or production equipment support.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, pneumatic systems, and electrical control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, or OEE concepts is an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
