Job summary

Havells in Tumakuru, Karnataka, seeks a Maintenance Technician to support plant reliability and uptime by performing preventive and breakdown tasks on mechanical and electrical systems.

JOB PURPOSE / MANDATE

Support the plant maintenance function by executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities on operational equipment and infrastructure. Ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of senior maintenance leadership.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities as per schedule and instructions.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist in root cause analysis of failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update logs for all equipment.
• Support implementation of TPM, Lean, and other modern maintenance practices.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during maintenance work.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime.
• Participate in audits and support documentation for compliance and reporting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
