Job summary

Infosys in Bangalore is seeking a Mainframe MQ Administrator with 5-13 years of experience to manage IBM MQ on z/OS. You will be responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring and ongoing tuning of MQ services to ensure high availability and performance, along with security management.

The role requires strong MQ administration skills, expertise in Queue Manager, MQ channels and JCL/SDSF, and a solid understanding of mainframe concepts to support critical messaging workflows.

Qualifications

• 5-13 years of hands-on experience with IBM MQ on Mainframe (z/OS).
• Strong knowledge of Queue Manager configuration, maintenance and security.
• Proficient with JCL/SDSF/TSO-ISPF and mainframe system concepts.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and monitor IBM MQ on Mainframe (z/OS) environments.
• Troubleshoot incidents, tune performance and ensure high availability of MQ services.
