Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Mainframe MQ Administrator for Bengaluru with 6 to 15 years of hands-on MQ experience. The role focuses on creating and configuring MQObjects, patching MQ, and monitoring via SYSVIEW and MQ Panel on z/OS systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience building MQ connections to midrange servers and a solid understanding of queue sharing groups. This is a domain-specialist Mainframe MQ role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and configuring MQObjects (Remote/Local/Agent Queues, Transmission/Dead letter/Cluster Queues).
• Knowledge of applying patches for MQ and monitoring MQ objects using SYSVIEW and MQ panel.
• Experience creating MQ objects on Mainframe z/OS and connecting to midrange servers.

Responsibilities

• Create and configure MQObjects like Remote Queues, Local Queues, Alias Queues, Transmission Queues, Dead letter Queues, Cluster Queues, Channels process, Shared Queues in all environments.
• Apply patches for MQ and monitor MQ objects using SYSVIEW and MQ Panel.
• Create MQ Objects on Mainframe z/OS servers and build connections to Mid range Servers.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of Queue Sharing Group.
