Tata Electronics (TEPL) is seeking a skilled Tool Room Machinist to operate and set up conventional and CNC tool room machines for manufacturing, repairing, modifying, and maintaining tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges. You will read drawings, perform precision measurements, and ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold an ITI or Diploma in Machinist/Tool Die Making or Mechanical Engineering with 2–5 years' experience.

Qualificações

• ITI or Diploma in Machinist/Tool Die Making or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of tool room machining experience (as required).
• Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, materials and tolerances.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Set up and operate lathe, milling, grinding, drilling and other tool room machines.
• Manufacture and repair tooling, fixtures, jigs, gauges and machine parts.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and dial indicators.
• Inspect components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality requirements.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and maintain machine cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Follow safety, quality and company procedures.

Job Summary

Job Purpose: Operate and set up conventional and CNC tool room machines to manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and precision components.
