Job summary

The candidate will set up machines, load tools, verify tolerances with precision instruments, and follow safety and production schedules while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of CNC machining experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FANUC or Siemens CNC control panels.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines with FANUC or Siemens control systems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and machining instructions.
• Perform machine setting, tool loading, and workpiece clamping.
• Understand CNC programs and make basic program corrections as required.
• Set and adjust machining parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.
• Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality as per specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure workplace cleanliness.
• Follow safety procedures and production schedules.
• Identify machining defects and report machine or tooling issues to the supervisor.
