Job summary

SFO Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Kerala seeks an experienced CNC Machinist with hands-on CNC lathe and SPM operations to handle setting, tool selection, and component inspection for quality delivery.

You will read engineering drawings, set offsets, select tools, monitor processes, perform basic program edits, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC lathe machining experience required.
• Experience with SPM machines is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and inspection procedures.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set CNC Lathe and SPM machines for components.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with hands‑on experience in CNC lathe machines and SPM (Special Purpose Machine) operations. The candidate will be responsible for machine operation, setting, tool selection, component inspection, and ensuring quality and productivity as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set CNC Lathe and SPM machines for machining components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, machining drawings, and specifications.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, offsets, and basic program corrections.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Identify machining defects and take necessary corrective actions.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting of CNC machines and report major machine issues to the concerned team.
• Ensure proper handling of raw materials, tools, fixtures, and finished components.
• Maintain production records and follow standard operating procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and 5S requirements.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams when required.
