Job summary

Rinix Automation in Navi Mumbai seeks a mechanical design engineer to design SPMs and CNC automation systems, develop 3D/2D CAD models, and ensure tight tolerances. You will collaborate with production and procurement to address manufacturing challenges and validate designs for reliability and scalability.

The role requires strong fundamentals in mechanical design, GD&T, and manufacturing processes, with proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Freshers with strong fundamentals may apply.

Qualifications

• In machine design / SPM design / automation equipment (freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and servo systems is a plus.
• Problem-solving mindset with good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design SPMs and CNC-based automation systems (Indexing, Drilling, Punching, Tapping, Rotary mechanisms).
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Inventor).
• Ensure accuracy up to 0.01mm with proper dimensioning, tolerancing, and BOM creation.
• Collaborate with production, purchase, and assembly teams to resolve design/manufacturing challenges.
• Innovate cost-effective, reliable, and scalable solutions for automation & fabrication industries.
• Perform design validation (tolerance analysis, material selection, and feasibility studies).
• Prepare documentation, user manuals, and technical specifications.
