Vriti in India is seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 migration specialist to lead tenant-to-tenant cutovers in a live enterprise environment.

You will plan migrations, configure tooling, and work with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions with minimal downtime. Strong PowerShell and Graph API skills are essential, along with clear documentation and communication.

• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, mail flow, identity and permissions.
• Experience with migration tools such as Quest and PowerShell troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to diagnose migration failures and manage cutovers in live environments.

• Investigate failed jobs, document root causes, and coordinate retries.
• Validate destination-tenant configuration including mail flow and transport rules.
• Maintain migration trackers and runbooks with clear change records.
• Raise blockers promptly and provide concise progress updates.
• Support post-migration validation and resolve user-reported issues.

• Plan and execute mailbox and data migration activities, including pilot users, migration waves, and cutover.
• Configure and troubleshoot migration tooling, permissions, authentication, and connectivity.
• Investigate failed jobs, document root causes, and coordinate retries or remediation.
• Validate destination-tenant configuration, including mail flow and transport rules.
• Maintain migration trackers, technical runbooks, and clear records of changes and outcomes.
• Raise blockers promptly, work directly with client and project stakeholders, and provide concise progress updates.
• Support post-migration validation and resolve issues identified by users or the project team.

Required Experience

• Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, mail flow, identity, permissions, and Microsoft Graph.
• Experience with migration tools such as Quest and with PowerShell-based troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to diagnose migration failures and manage cutovers in a live enterprise environment.
• Clear written communication and disciplined documentation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance configuration, including Microsoft Purview.
