Job summary

Aspire-Textiles-LL in India seeks a Garment Production Supervisor to supervise daily garment production and ensure targets are achieved. You will plan and monitor production activities per the schedule and allocate manpower effectively.

You will oversee sewing lines, finishing, checking and packing, maintain line balancing and smooth flow, and coordinate with Quality, Cutting, Stores, PPC, and Maintenance teams. 1–5 years of garment production experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in textile/garments/fashion technology.
• 1–5 years of garment production experience.
• Sewing line supervision experience.
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing process.
• Production planning and target achievement.
• Line balancing knowledge.
• Quality and defect control.
• WIP and production monitoring.
• Knowledge of cutting, sewing and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily garment production and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Plan and monitor production activities as per the production schedule.
• Manage sewing lines and allocate manpower effectively.
• Monitor cutting, sewing, finishing, checking, and packing processes.
• Ensure proper line balancing and smooth production flow.
• Monitor production efficiency, WIP, and line performance.
• Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action.
• Ensure garments are produced according to approved samples and specifications.
• Coordinate with Quality, Cutting, Stores, PPC, and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor and reduce defects, rework, rejection, and production losses.
• Train, guide, and motivate operators and helpers.
• Maintain daily production and manpower reports.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, 5S, and workplace safety.
• Achieve production targets while maintaining required quality standards.
