Job summary

Truscomp is seeking a Statutory Compliance Specialist to manage labour laws, payroll compliance, and regulatory filings. You will handle end-to-end compliance for PF, ESI, PT, and other statutory acts, maintain registers, and coordinate with authorities during inspections.

The role requires auditing, risk identification, and advising HR on regulatory changes, with a strong emphasis on accuracy in deductions and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Commerce, Law, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in statutory compliance, labour law, or HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory regulations.
• Experience handling compliance audits, inspections, and government liaison activities.
• Proficient in MS Excel and HR/payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Manage end-to-end compliance related to PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, Factory Act, and Shops & Establishments Act.
• Maintain statutory registers, records, licenses, and timely filing of statutory returns.
• Coordinate with government authorities during inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Monitor contractor and vendor statutory compliance and ensure all required documentation is up to date.
• Conduct compliance audits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Support payroll compliance by ensuring statutory deductions and contributions are accurate.
• Prepare compliance MIS reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Guide and support the HR team on statutory compliance matters and regulatory changes.
