Job summary

Kia India is seeking a logistics professional to drive planning, optimization, and governance across its logistics network. The role emphasizes cost analysis, KPI monitoring, and risk management to enhance efficiency and compliance.

The candidate will coordinate with Plant, Sales, Finance and logistics partners to deliver integrated logistics solutions and drive performance improvements across the network.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Strategy: capacity planning for Plant, VPC and RSY, network optimization, gap identification and mitigation.
• Cost & Commercial: analyze logistics costs, optimize freight, review service contracts and investments.
• Performance & Control: monitor KPI, SLA, dispatch, turnaround time, dwell time, damage and inventory.
• Insurance & Risk: renew transit insurance, manage declarations, adjust premiums, handle claims and reduce loss.
• Process & Projects: ensure process compliance, oversee SAP/ERP controls and logistics infrastructure projects.
• Management & Governance: monthly KPI reporting, business plan, reviews, coordinate with plant, sales, finance and partners.

• Insurance & Risk: Transit insurance renewal, declarations, premium adjustments, claims management and claim reduction
• Process & Projects: Process compliance, SAP/ERP controls and logistics infrastructure, system and improvement projects
• Management & Governance: Monthly KPI reporting, Business Plan, management reviews, coordination with Plant, Sales, Finance & logistics partners
