Job summary

Ficus Pax Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a logistics professional to oversee end-to-end export and import operations from India.

You will coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and suppliers to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery, while maintaining accurate documentation and records. The role requires strong attention to detail and experience handling shipping documents, regulatory requirements, and cost control across freight and duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end export shipments, including documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in import shipments, including customs clearance and related paperwork.
• Proficiency in coordinating with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and inland transport providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end export shipments by Air, Sea, Road and Courier.
• Prepare and verify export documents (Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, B/L/AWB, Origin Certificate).
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customers and internal teams.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure on-time delivery per customer schedules.

Role & responsibilities

• Export Operations
• Manage end-to-end export shipments by Air, Sea, Road, and Courier.
• Prepare and verify export documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, and other customer-specific documents.
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customers, and internal departments.
• Ensure shipments are dispatched as per customer schedules and committed delivery timelines.
• Monitor shipment status until final delivery to the customer.
• Import Operations
• Handle end-to-end import shipments, including documentation and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, and transporters.
• Verify import documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Entry, Bill of Lading/AWB, and Certificate of Origin.
• Ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of imported materials to the plant.
• Monitor duty payments, detention, demurrage, and other logistics-related costs.
• Customs & Statutory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with applicable Customs, DGFT, FEMA/RBI, GST, and foreign trade requirements.
• Handle IEC, LUT, Advance Authorization/EPCG and other applicable export-import schemes.
• Maintain proper records for statutory, internal, customer, and external audits.
• Coordinate for closure of export/import documentation and regulatory requirements.
